ANNOUNCEMENT FOR STUDENTS WHO WILL REGISTER FOR ELECTIVE COURSES FOR THE SPRING TERM OF ACADEMIC YEAR 2007-2008

Elective course categories (status) which are included in the curriculum of departments are mentioned below. Departments might be using different definitions.

Definitions for categories which varies according to departments are available in the undergraduate curriculum.

Beginning from 2007-2008 Fall Semester registrations, students will be able to register for elective courses only in the status mentioned in their curriculum.

Courses have been defined (based on departments and categories) in Student Affairs Information System. A course will be able to taken only in the status defined in the system or in Free Elective status (for the departments which use this definition)

You should apply to the relevant department secretary if you encounter any problem related to the category(status) of the course during the registration.
