The course schedule of IS 100 is announced on the IS 100 web page after the add-drop period. Sections are changed only if there is incongruence in course hours. In order to change their section, students should first come to their previous section (which is determined by the Informatics Institute) and see the research assistant of the section, and then they should go to Room 410 (MM) and see the concerned research assistant. The sections are changed if it is appropriate.
Students who entered the university in 1998 or later (except for those who entered the university in the 1998-1999 Academic Year and were exempted from English Preparatory School) and who never took or failed IS 100, may attend one of the sections that is determined for them and announced on the IS 100 web page. These students should attend the first course hour of suitable section and assure their section to the research assistant of the section. We recommend them to assure their section on the first week, because every course hour that they did not attend will be counted as non-attendance.
