ENGLISH PROFICIENCY

 

Since the medium of instruction is English throughout METU, the candidates must have a sufficient level of English to be able to follow the classes (except the programs of Vocational and Technical School in which classes are Turkish). The English Proficiency of the students who apply for transfer is determined by the English Proficiency Exams which are held by METU Basic English School. Dates for these exams are announced in the academic calendar.

 

METU English Proficiency Exam will be held on June 15-20, 2007. Those who want to take this exam must make their application until June 13, 2007. Detailed information on application is available in: http://www.oidb.metu.edu.tr/english/engindex.html
