APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Double Major Programs
Students can apply to a double major program in the beginning of their 3rd, 4th or 5th semesters.
Students should have passed all courses with credit they took in their major programs. The courses with “W” are considered as not taken.
Cumulative GPA should be at least 3.00.
The student should be in the upper 20 % of his/her major program in terms of success.
The students of Faculty of Education cannot apply to the double major programs.
The student should meet additional criteria if required by the departments.
The students who apply to the Department of Mathematics should have passed MATH 119-120 or MATH 157-158 or Math 151-152 or MATH 155-156 with at least BB.
Minor programs
Students can apply to a double major program in the beginning of their 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th semesters.
Cumulative GPA should be at least 2.50.
The student should meet additional criteria if required by the departments.
The students who apply to the Department of Mathematics should have passed MATH 119-120 or MATH 157-158 or Math 151-152 or MATH 155-156 with at least CB.
A student’s double major or minor application will not be accepted if the student applied to the transfer program within the same faculty in the same semester and accepted.
Summer school courses and grades are not evaluated in the consequent fall applications.
Applications not evaluated (because of incomplete documents, not met requirements) and evaluated but not accepted are not announced to the applicants. Their application fee and documents are not returned. Results are announced in the website.
It is recommended that before application students read announcements, related regulations, the catalog of the program they apply (courses, total number of courses that should be taken as prerequisites) from the related departments website.
Applicants are not given written notification of their results.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
1. Application Form:can be downloaded from the website.
2. Transcript Fee: Transcript fee of student copy (4 TL). If the applicant applies for more than one program, they should pay for each application and add the receipt to the application form. The transcripts will be added by the OIDB.

Candidates who are applying for more than one program should fill out one form. Preferences should be indicated in this form and the form should be photocopied. Students can apply for maximum 5 programs (double major and minor together). For each additional program they apply, additional transcripts are needed.
RESULTS will be announced in the related website on September, 18, 2009.
