Dear International Students,

In the page of http://www.oidb.metu.edu.tr/english/ikametiexp.html the information on student residence permit has been updated. The page includes useful directives for you to get, extend etc.. your residence permit. Please read the explanations, which will be a useful guide for you during your education in Turkey, carefully and pay attention to obey the rules not to face problems ahead.

Please be sure that you know all the legal procedure especially if you are about to face an extraordinary status such as dismissal, registration withdrawal, graduation, on leave etc.. As you may probably know, serious problems may occur due to the neglection; and unawareness of the rules will not be regarded as an excuse.
